Initially, the first full rehearsal in January I was super lost.
I was supposed to lead 5 PAYM dancers to standby @ Gap AB but i ended up staying with the main contingent at the start of Sector A.
Later I was supposed to lead the Indian Dancers back to get props for finale.
Ok it was all messed up & it was just bad..
BUT.
The 2 performances (3rd & 4th Feb) turned out great!!!!
Everything & everyone did so well!!! ^^

& did i mention i feel so cool being part of the production crew cuz i get a walkie talkie HAHA.
K not much but.... Cool lah.
At the garage where we had to wait for briefing.
After briefing, me & Yokekay decided to get out & take pix w the performers! ^^

But the bad thing for them is that they had to walk in the water for Sector A to C, the water kept splashing together with their long sleeves.
We got bored then decided to find the bridge addicts at Tentage G.
Then I got everyone to take pix w the performers too lol!

I was only supposed to bring 2 of the 龙头，2 龙尾 & 1 Pearl.
Ite I had to rush em like mad cuz super late alr.
End up still had to wait. :/

Opening Item!
Then I had to get the placard to go to the end of Sector F with Clement to pick up our groups for finale.
Ite Clement didn't even need to pick up his group cuz they went ahead w/o him.
Slacker.

Walked my Indian Dance group back & once again we chatted & all.
They asked me "Girl got short cut or not ah?" (Cuz the route back to starting point was pretty long)
I said no & i felt so awful inside.
Anw they were so warm & friendly oh my. ^^

While waiting for finale, one of them fainted & one guy ran up to inform me.
"GIRL MEDIC MEDIC FASTER ONE PERSON FAINTED!"
I got so scared cuz nobody responded to my walkie messages nor calls so I just ran to the First Aid corner.
I ran so fast & i felt my heart was gna drop out cuz I was so afraid that person would die or sth.
Ok thankfully the first aid arrived before we reached the tent.
Sent my Indian Dancers for finale & I said bye and all.
They were super nice to thank me & high five & smile at me.
Omg srsly soooo lovely. (:
Went back to Tentage G to find Bridge ppl.
Headed back to the garage & went to Gap AB to watch finale & fireworks! ^^

Goodness.
Anw, overall being part of the Production Crew for Chingay was truly one of a kind experience.
It's actually quite fun working with the performers!
They're all so warm & bubbly.
Of course initially I was super afraid of screwing up (which I did) but thank God everything went well.
But I still prefer being a performer. HAHA.
All in all, so glad & thankful I got the chance to try being a Production Crew.
